★Susan LarsonI was a substitute teacher at this school and looked forward to a wonderful 2 day assignment. Unfortunately, my experience at this school was disappointing. Teacher didn't leave plans on desk or in office. She emailed 12 pages to me, but I used this to preview plans. She explicitly said plans would be in the school office or on her desk. Didn't happen. I am a retired special education teacher and have taught junior high reading as well. Her students are allowed, even with a sub, to eat in class and listen to music with their earbuds. I wasn't born yesterday, and I know students will try to get away with whatever they can. The students were not bad, just badly behaved. School administrator took me out of this classroom and gave me another assignment. Fine. Worked for me. But what was not appropriate, she tried to keeping me from her paid for the day I did complete.
