You don't want to miss this if you love animals. Well taken care of spaces and a variety of species to observe. You receive a map for your self guided tour and can take as much time as you need to meander through. Animals are rescued and given great spaces to live. They are constructing a new habitat for the bear cubs which is fascinating. Good gift shop too if you want to take a friendly animal (toy) home.

My friends & I did a sip & paint where the proceeds went towards the animals there. Included was a personal tour of the animal we were to paint and a wealth of fun and knowledge by the zoo team. The zoo is small and personable. Great after hour events and great layout. Totally paved and easy to walk or push a stroller or wheelchair.

This is a great place that has a variety of different animals, which many of them we got to see up close. We learned a ton from one of the employees named Jeanne. She was so knowledgeable and genuinely cared about the animals and the rehabilitation work they are doing. It was great talking to her and I would definitely recommend visiting this sanctuary.

What a fantastic experience! We opted for the private behind the scenes tour (1.5 hours, just under $300 for two people), and it was so worth it. You get up & close to several animals to give them snacks, and the host gives you a plethora of information about the sanctuary and each animal. Dyann was so knowledgeable and a great guide for our experience. The sanctuary is a wonderful cause and well worth every minute. It's not a massive complex either, so it's very easy to take a stroll around with just a few little hills and awesome scenery. Highly recommend!
