The Eli and Bessie Cohen Camps are a nonprofit family of three Jewish overnight camps founded in 1935, operated from a year-round office in Wellesley: Camp Pembroke for girls in Pembroke MA, and the co-ed Camp Tel Noar in Hampstead NH and Camp Tevya in Brookline NH. Campers ages 7-16 live beside lakes with swimming, water sports, arts and athletics, and Jewish life, Hebrew and Israel programming run through each day; the camps are pluralist, kosher and inclusive. Teen offerings continue with the Dor L'Dor Israel travel capstone and Kadima counselor training, and each camp offers a one- or two-week mini-session for first-time campers.
