★★★★★Lorelei ParkinThis older style YMCA is awesome. The staff is absolutely amazing, they're engaging, kind and extremely helpful. They offer a variety of activities, camps and amenities including an outdoor swim pool. Locker rooms are kept clean and everything is very tidy. To upper management: the citizens request a larger updated facility please. Our town is growing rapidly and this amazing Y needs to update with it. Larger everything, even the pool. Maybe add a sauna, an indoor gymnasium with AC, etc. And a covered/shaded seating area outside for parent who watch swim lessons. Please and thank you.

They have pickleball, a variety of group exercise classes offered for everyone with a new schedule that started in October adding Zumba, Pilates, HIIT, LINE DANCING, you name it! weight/ cardio room with a lot of equipment, BEST and only Heated swimming pool in chino w/ lap swimming, water aerobics, water safety/ swim lessons, private swim lessons and swim team! All the staff are very friendly and nice as well as crystal the program director. If you are in the area stop by and get a lovely tour!
★Andy LiExtremely disappointed with the swim program at YMCA Chino. We pulled our child out with four classes still remaining even though they don’t offer refunds. We would rather give up the remaining classes than continue wasting time here. The entire operation is very disorganized and unprofessional. Coaches are frequently rotated, and many coaches are clearly unprepared. One coach even asked the kids what swimming level they were at after the class had already started — this is not just careless, it is completely unacceptable. The class arrangement is extremely chaotic. Six kids were squeezed into one narrow swim lane, with no enough space for real learning. It felt chaotic from start to end. This is not an environment where kids can truly learn to swim or build confidence in the water. If your child likes swimming and you take swim instruction seriously, please don’t waste your time and money at YMCA Chino

We visit every Saturday for the past month and it's been a pleasant experience every time. We are considering signing up for the gym membership as well later on!
