Powered by GoogleOur family loves the San Pedro & Peninsula YMCA. The facility is clean, welcoming, and has a really cool classic mid-century style that makes it feel unique. My wife takes Pilates classes here, my 10-year-old son has done swim lessons in the pool and participates in youth basketball and soccer, and I come in for cardio. There is truly something here for everyone. The staff and coaches are all incredibly friendly and helpful, and it really feels like a community. We’re very happy to be members and highly recommend this YMCA.
I really love this gym and have never had anything but a positive experience with the smiling and welcoming staff. I have taken a few classes but mostly use the main exercise room and have had no problems. I do wish there were a few more treadmills, but they usually open up pretty fast. I also YMCA as a whole would open back up on Sundays. Overall, I really love this gym it's clean, organized, and has a welcoming vibe.
Nice place. Have everything for lift weights and cardio. Always clean and good equipment. 2 pools are enough to swim as for professionals so and for small kids. For kids always warm and also hot jacuzzi. Pleasant stuff always ready to help!
We recently went here as a vendor for Tio's Teriyaki & Sauce Community event. The event was for the community and they were giving out school supplies for FREE. YMCA members/ workers participated. They had their own booth. They were kind enough to open their restrooms for us too. All the workers/members we came across always had a smile on their face and was very polite. The building itself it's very clean and beautiful. There were games or practice taking place as we kept seeing kids come and go. Alot of families were attending the YMCA and then came to check out the event. It was a great day! *More pics will be up soon*
This place is like home to my family and me. We became members in 2012 and have been going strong. The staff and other members are loving and caring, and will call you if they get to know you and then don't see you. They love their members and want to see us reach our health and fitness goals! The location is always clean and they offer personal training. There are activities in the evenings for youth, and a kids club for infants. My son who is now 8 was in the kids club since 6 weeks old, and calls one staff member abuelita because shes been caring from him since day one. This is a family location that we are so proud to be a member of. Sincerely, Mr Michael Center, Mrs Tockqua Edna Center Imani Banks Michael Center III
