Camp Wildwood has been a summer home to my boys since my oldest son began as an 8 year old Cedar Pine. Six summers later, I can say the camp has developed beautifully into an inclusive, supportive, vibrant environment. Rich in tradition and chock full of counselors who spent their childhoods there as campers, Wildwood has evolved with the times. Under new leadership (the new owners rose through the ranks from lifelong campers to counselors to owners), the camp balances camaraderie and competition with a spirit of understanding about the unique qualities and needs of each kid. I have two very different boys: one sporty extrovert and one cerebral, non-sporty introvert, and both boys thrive at Wildwood. Louis and Teddy respond thoughtfully to my concerns. They partner on problem solving and follow through on promises. At camp, they foster an environment of indepence but ensure kids follow the structure of the day. Most important, I’m confident my boys are safe, well-fed, and nurtured. The camp is working on building a more diverse group of kids, which is critical, and broadening their activities, but overall the experience for my boys has been truly formative. They are learning how to independently navigate a world far from home and making friendships that will last a lifetime.

Our son just finished his 3rd summer at Camp Wilwood, such an amazing place for a kid to grow, thrive, and develop as a leader. The facilities, staff, and directors are all top notch. The directors are all educators during the school year, so making a positive impact in the lives of kids is their passion 365 days a year. Plus we love that camp is big enough to have every activity imaginable but small enough that the directors and staff know each child by name. A truly special place.

i went to Camp Wildwood 35 years ago and loved it so much that now my two boys are campers there. MY ten and eleven year old are back for their 2nd and 3rd summers. They leave next week and cant be more excited. Wildwood is my favorite place in the world. The experiences i had as a boy i will never forget and i know my boys are now have the same amazing time. I cant say enough about how terrific a place it is. From the grounds and facilities to the amazing staff and owners Wildwood is perfect. I love that now i can live vicariously through my kids. I cant wait for visiting day!

Camp Wildwood is amazing. Both our sons are full summer campers. This summer will be my older son's 4th and my younger one's 3rd. The facilities are perfect. They have every sport you would ask for and the bunks are the way they should be. Not fancy but comfortable, clean and a little rustic. You feel you're at camp and not a hotel. The food is great! My younger son is picky and always has a good meal. They're both gluten free and the chef and staff accommodates them just fine. They even have a gluten free table where they can go and get their food. The counselors are well trained and truly care about their campers. My older son keeps in touch with one of them in England through the year. The owners and Directors are former campers. They love this place and it shows. I would recommend Wildwood to anyone who's looking for an all boys sports camp that's not pretentious nor run down. It's perfectly in the middle.
