★★★★★Elizabeth TraylorMy 12 year old daughter has been to several overnight summer sleep away camps in VA and PA and this is hands down her very favorite summer sleep away camp! Miss Beth, the camp staff and volunteers made her feel so welcome and special in a safe atmosphere. They have beautiful grounds with a lake, a large barn and separate air conditioned sleeping quarters for girls and boys. She said the food was terrific too. My daughter enjoyed the group activities the children were offered including all the typical camp activities such as swimming, sports, fishing, archery, etc. I paid extra for her to ride horses as well which was her favorite part of camp! There were 7 docile and well cared for horses for trail rides. They also had goats and chickens. The camp is Christian but you do not have to be Christian to attend (as we are not) and they welcome all beliefs and walks of life. My daughter made great friends and memories that will last a lifetime! We will be back next year!

The property has amazing history and a wonderful legacy left behind by the camp's founders Rev. Doug Farmer and his wife Ms. Anne. The camp is now a 501C3, if you are looking for a beautiful place for your children or for adults please consider getting away from the hustle and bustle of the real world, unplug and take a step back in time. You will first enjoy the simple beauty of nature either on horseback, walking or hiking. Take a swim in the lake, learn archery, enjoy delicious meals and great cup of coffee while the sun comes up. Contact the director today about taking your youth group to camp or your employees for a team building adventure. You will not be disappointed.

Love the country atmosphere, horses, lake, food, shooting range, archery and great people. Show your kids a good old fashion time with relaxing atmosphere by trained, experienced and old school counselors. I highly recommend this camp especially for NoVA kids that lack that country backbone. Love, love, love this camp.
★★★★★S BEnjoyed a men's retreat one weekend in early spring. This place is quite rustic, but serviceable. The staff are very accommodating. Our cottage porch, with its chairs and benches, made a good place for chilly but friendly late night discussions. At one point, we had about ten guys sitting around telling stories until midnight or later. Glad I brought a sweater.
