I spent the weekend at this camp for a retreat, and it was a major disappointment. I honestly don’t know how this place is still operating. Although the camp is supposed to be ADA accessible, the bathroom in Cabin 4 was one of the worst I’ve ever seen. Parts of the floor were soft, and eventually the bathroom floor collapsed under us. Thankfully, both of us are able-bodied. The shower curtains were filthy, the ceiling was dirty, the toilet seat needed replacement, and the bathroom door had no lock. Privacy was basically just the grimy shower curtain between the toilet and shower. The cabin overall looked like it hadn’t had a deep cleaning in years. In contrast, the bathroom in the Blazer cabin was in better shape—recently worked on, though still with dirty curtains. The furniture, floors, windows, and doors there were in decent condition. In our cabin, the windows, screens, fans, and lights worked fine. I appreciated being able to sleep without AC. However, the mattresses were too small for the bed frames and uncomfortable. Our group used the dining hall for lectures, even with the sound system the sound was poor. The room echoed badly, probably because it isn’t carpeted. Adding carpet could help reduce the noise. The dining hall also needed a deep cleaning, and some furniture and restroom fixtures were overdue for replacement. There was also a noticeable odor inside. The patio, however, was in good shape and a much better spot for clear sound. I’ve attached photos so others can see what I’ve described. I hope they aren’t removed, since I couldn’t find many real pictures of the cabins before coming here.

My husband and I just got married at Camp Holiday trails and Tina was truly an amazing person to work with and answered all our questions! We loved being able to support the campers, and also have the rustic wedding vibes of our dreams! Tina was easy to organize times for us to come out and view the space, share all the awesome options, and also had recommendations of what other couples had done. We didn’t have enough time to get all the photos we wanted but we are eager to go back for our future anniversaries to capture some more memories there!

We had our wedding there! Loved the space, they had a lot of options for the cost and are great value for the $$ (at time of writing). They were always very responsive and accommodating for when we wanted to visit and look at the space. Only thing is, be prepared to DIY most of your event if you hold it there. They have a list of vendors they like to work with that makes the process easier. It's also off of a windy country road so careful driving is a must!

Wonderful place for a wedding! Camp Holiday Trails is such a special place with a wonderful mission. This was the perfect place for us to have our wedding. We had our ceremony at the fire pit and the reception in the pavilion. Tina was very professional and communicative throughout the process from signing the contract to the day of our wedding. The venue is so beautiful and will always hold a special place in our hearts.

We had our wedding reception at the Camp Holiday Trails pavilion and had a wonderful time. The space was able to fit a dance floor, bar, buffet, and 140 guests throughout the evening. The surrounding area is beautiful, especially the trees and view around the fire pit (which was a huge hit with the less dancing-inclined guests!). The dining hall was also great, as our caterer was able to use the massive camp kitchen for prep, and the freezer was essential for storing our ice cream! Tina was also a delight to work with – she was quick to respond to any questions and was very accommodating in helping us work in camp visits outside of camper sessions. Overall, we were very happy with our choice of wedding venue.
