I got back from 5th grade camp 3 or so days ago (5/1/26) and I’m going to share about my trip. My cabin was super nice (I stayed in the conference center) and I loved being able to go out into that common area. The food was not too bad but the Salisbury steak we had the first night was really weird. It tasted like a sponge and it made me want to throw up. The salad bar was good at lunch and dinner time. The soda machine’s wear broke though. The only bad part was on the 3rd night. The 3rd night I started to feel feverish. So I went to the nurse. He told me I had a fever and my mom sent me with powdered Tylenol and the nurse put it in water so I only got the smallest amount ever. The worst part is, is that he didn’t tell me my temperature. This is what he said “You have a fever. And yes it is hot in these rooms but go back to your cabin and rest.” He didn’t even call my mom or anything. The rest of the trip was fun and I had great counselors.

It was honestly goated but there was still some stuff I didn't enjoy. Such as the mattresses the felt so sweaty I literally had to sleep on the floor because of it. Also the food was nice and all but the water tasted like blood well, it was ground water so I can't blame them. It was really fun especially the zipline.

I stayed at camp for the Michigan Slipstream camp. The camp is great, the camp staff were very helpful and all of the spaces were very clean. I was nervous to go on the giant swing and the camp staff were very encouraging. Thank you Ryan, Zion, and Mia!

Went here through our son's school and I can say we had a fantastic time All of the kids absolutely enjoyed their time. And a very special shout out to Makayla, She was an absolute favorite amongst the students. She was very engaging and eager working with the students getting them pumped up for activities and highly supportive and fun she kept their attention and made the educational side fun and kept everyone attentive and they all enjoyed it. Another that the students enjoyed would be L students enjoyed working with her with the reptiles. I also want to mention reading through the comments we seen no mold no bugs in the water is well water that has a slight odor, I can imagine to run municipal water to the camp would probably cost a million and a half. All the equipment was in good order and I can say many of the boy scout camps that I have been to we're in lesser of condition than here, I'd like to point out this is a camp for camping and not a hotel stay so if you don't like camping then maybe this isn't for you. The camp is absolutely fantastic at offering opportunities to kids than many may not have access to do or try and I think they do a fantastic job of getting kids active and entertained and educated.

My daughter loves this camp and I do too! Last year I was a little apprehensive about sending my child to an overnight camp for safety reasons but everything went well. My daughter is going again this year and can’t wait. The facilities, staff, activities, and food (so my daughter says) are great. No complaints.
