Being 59 now I remember being in the cabin of the cascades, I remember the square dancing the prayers. And I remember there being an enormous cross where there were benches for us to sit and pray, one of the other kids there, Suzanne, Schwartz, and I snuck off held hands and sat there in the pews. Hyundai age, of course, holding hands that was some serious stuff back then.We must have sat there fifteen minutes before we ran back. The memories I've just had our incredible , and I'm glad I still have them.

Families with LGBTQIA+ children should consider other camp options. While this camp may be a good fit for some children, our experience raised serious concerns about how non-straight children are treated. The female staff members we interacted with were kind and professional; however, we found the leadership, particularly the Executive Director, to be problematic and, in our opinion, contributing to an environment that did not feel safe or inclusive. In addition, despite multiple requests to be removed from both email and postal mailing lists, we continue to be added back, which has been frustrating. There are many alternative camps available, and families should explore other options.

I’m 61. I went to this camp back in the 70s. It was a great experience and I still remember playing a tag game in rolls of mature pine trees. We would have prayer in the woods in different locations and the food in the huge mess hall. Wish I could relive those memories. Great time, very good Christian experience for young people
