Powered by GoogleMy children enjoy this camp with the ability to choose activities at any time. They have many activities available including arts and crafts, movie room, bounce, house bounce houses on the water, zip line, and various animals that they can interact with, fishing, kayaking and various activities. Snacks and lunches included. They can swim at any time. You have various options when you want to pick up your children anytime from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. My children are ages 4 and 1/2 to 8 are able to find something to do all day long. If you have outdoorsy children that love to play this is the camp for them.
Skull Island is a dream camp for my two boys. They had so much fun fishing, kayaking, swimming and playing with friends. It’s a very open format where kids choose their own adventure. The boys also loved the food options for snack and lunch. Overall, it was a really great experience and we will be back! I wish i could join them, it looked like so much fun.
We absolutely love Skull Island camp. This camp is truly every kids summer dream. I love that the camp is not structured or scheduled and allows kids to truly be kids. My oldest has been attending for 7 summers and now my youngest can’t wait to start. Zip lines, playgrounds, swimming, fishing, boating, crafts, movies, animals, everything kids could want. The food options are also great my kids can’t wait for Skull Island Mac and Cheese! It is run by an amazing family who truly loves what they do. As the kids get older the CIT and counselor program is a great opportunity for teenagers to get their first job experience. We are so thankful for Skull Island!
Absolutely amazing camp from the owners to the staff to the location to the activities. My kids both attended as campers and now my son is a counselor and my daughter is a counselor in training. If given the choice to go somewhere else instead they would both insist on only being at Skull Island. Both as parents and as campers we have only ever had positive experiences. If I could I would give them an infinity star review.
My kids have been at Skull Island Camp every summer for 11 years and still look forward to going every time! They love the activities that Skull Island offers, and I love the highly-trained staff that are committed to my kids being safe each day. Sending my kids to Skull Island Camp gives me some free days to get things done in the summer, and some evenings to do nothing at all because the kids willingly go to bed early after playing on the island! The CIT program is genius, it keeps the kids who are “too old” to go to camp as campers engaged in something off of screens, teaches responsibility, and gives them a little network of other respectful tweens/young teens to hang around. Mr. and Mrs. Chipman are incredible assets to the community, and always come up with creative ways to give back to others. This camp truly is a one-of-a-kind summer experience that you have to see to believe. Your kids will be begging to come back!
