My kid went to Caribou this past summer for the first time and loved it! It was his first time away from home but within a couple of days he was well adjusted to camp life. The daily photo updates and easy of sending and receiving letters reduced all our anxiety as first time parents. We have signed up for Summer 2025 already!

I had the privilege to stay at camp Caribou because my niece chose it as her wedding venue. I very rarely write reviews but I have to on Camp Caribou. What a beautiful place. While driving in I noticed how clean it is. I love the cabin my Aunt and I stayed in. Both sides of the bride ( My niece ) and grooms family took over the grounds. We had so much fun. 1.) The grounds impeccable clean. 2.)The owners Marth and Bill Lerman and sons nothing but gracious. 3.)Staff were very tentative. No matter what you needed they were sure to get it for you if they were able. 4.) Golf cart rides to/from our cabin. 5.) The food was beyond delicious. I have to specify, the chef they have actually closes his restaurant in Mexico to spend the summer to cook for the camp. How wonderful is that? My meat was cooked exactly the way I like. The staff were wonderful. Imagine 3 generations of owning camp grounds. Thank you Martha and Bill, Alex and Bobby. You all out did yourselves. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your graciousness before during and after my nieces wedding. Thank you for your kindness and so willing to help my niece in every way you could. As well as the entire family. So If you want to get married in Maine and camping is part of your life have your wedding at Camp Caribou. You won't regret it. My niece and her now husband were very impressed. I did not get paid for this review. Again thank you to all at Camp Caribou

My experience with the Camp Caribou and Bobby has been excellent. After an unexpected accident the last week of school at recess (my son broke his arm and needed surgery), Bobby helped us determine the best path forward with camp. He gave us multiple options from accommodating the situation, to choosing a different session, to canceling the season so that he could have a great first summer at Caribou another year. During each conversation, I felt that he put physical safety and mental health above profit and convenience. A great camp has flexibility and communicates well with parents. I definitely experienced this first hand.

Highly recommend Caribou! Camp Caribou is such a magical place! My son has thrived there, made lifelong friends and came home more independent, more confident and more willing to try new foods and activities! Worth every penny for an amazing experience!

I camped here from 1971-74 and they were the best times of my life by far (until I met my wife) - I also went back to do father-son weekends in 2001-2003 with my nephews and they were just as good!! Great camp, great family owners (still hasn't changed) and more memories than I can list.
