I love Camp Cobbossee!!! I can’t wait to go back to go next year for my Sachem year 2024! Camp is so fun! My favorite part of camp was making friends, Climbing, climbing trip, and tennis. The bunks are so much fun and I made a whole lot of friends and can’t wait to go back and hopefully work there one day and be a super counselor! Josh did amazing with this place. And everyone should definitely go here if you love sports, fried chicken, swimming, climbing, making friends and being competitive. CAMP COBBOSSEE IS AMAZING!!

Attended a wedding here and I have to say all the boys that attend this camp in the summer are super lucky! It is a beautiful locations and as a mom of 2 young boys it had me thinking about looking into some boys camps for my kids here in NH where we live. This camp was in wonderful shape and had tons of ammenities! Bravo 👏

I started my summers at Camp Cobbossee in 2015, hailing from the UK. From the first Training week I was astounded by the inclusivity, great people, endless games and joy of the community of Staff. Once the campers arrived these feelings of joy were only exacerbated. I can say that working camp is no easy job. It's long hours with the boys, outdoors all the time and engaging and there are so many random challenges that come up but I couldn't have had a better team to work alongside and support me. There were some very experienced Head coaches and Directors in charge and I learnt a ton from them. The friends I made that summer still message back and forward to this day. I came back for 3 more summers before going fulltime as the Staffing Director, which I have been for 4 years now. Camp is a special place for everyone who attends it but there's something special in the water of Lake CobbosseeContee. This will be my 2nd year on the Maintenance Crew. Coming in to Camp in the morning, you get this feeling that your going to make a difference in someone's life, which in return makes me feel awesome, and at the end of the day when it's time to go home, I just want to stay. The kids have so much fun there!! I wish I was a kid again, because you grow up so fast, and you forget your childhood. Here at camp you don't! I work a full-time job during the week and work at camp on the weekends. I love it there!! Everyone there is awesome!!

I am 22 now, and am looking back at growing up. I went to Cobbossee four consecutive years - from when I was 11 to 14 years old. I was essentially forced to go by my dad, as he wanted me to experience something new. I was overweight back then and did not regularly play sports, and at first I seriously did not enjoy being there. Not only was I homesick, but I had a lot of trouble connecting with my peers. I lived in Europe at the time, so that had to do with this, but it was mainly because of my physical state and ability. I was made fun of and laughed at quite a bit. Although this had me feeling down at first, I realized that this should not deter me from enjoying myself. Instead of taking the criticisms I received from others to heart, I let go of them and focused on improving myself and having fun. In doing this, I grew a lot as a person, both physically and mentally. I give the rating four stars because although I was able to get past being made fun of, I witnessed a lot of others who were not able to and consequently did not enjoy themselves. The staff at Cobbossee claim that this high level of competition and harshness is not present, but that is what they say in order to try to get rid of it, or perhaps in order to try to ignore it in order to get more kids to enroll. If you are considering enrolling, or you are considering enrolling your son, please consider this. It is good to approach partaking in this camp expecting to be interacting and engaging with a lot of highly competitive kids.
