Powered by GoogleThis experience was quickly ruined when a fellow dog owner chose to not obey state and municipal leash expectations and our dog and my husband were attacked as a result. Unfortunately, our time here was ruined by an irresponsible dog owner who never did leash or secure her animal. People....just do better!
It was a terrible experience for my daughter. My daughter is 9 years old and most of the other kids were 6th grade or 7th grade my daughter is in going in to 5th and she did not fit in whatsoever. There also looked like there was mold on the beds the mattresses were also twin sized beds and apparently felt like plastic. She had to do a paper on what they liked and what they learned that stuff and it said “if you could donate 500$ to the camp what would be” or something along the lines of that and she said the beds now in my option I think that’s saying something. The kids only got two showers for 5 days and the shower didn’t have a shower head you had to carry it I mean where would you put it? HUH?! In camp TangleWood you there is a.buddy system so I’m sure that makes kids uncomfortable to poop. Well that’s my review on TangleWood overnight camp I hope you learned about this camp and put this review into thought before sending your kids here!
Rustic cabins and buildings nestled in a lovely wooded setting. Great 4-H camp here with a focus on ecology, environmental stewardship, and fun! Swimming in the river, field games, art, music, gardening and more... Tanglewood has so much to offer!
I chaperoned my daughters field trip here. We had a blast. The staff are all amazing and very patient. Edie was especially awesome. I'm really grateful to have had this experience.
I attended as a camper, junior counselor, and worked as a counselor for several years at Tanglewood. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life - the friends, memories, learning opportunities, and communities.
