Off Season Rentals are available....Our Youth Curling Group was fortunate enough to take advantage of Camp Bishopswood for an end of season gathering of kids and their families. It was no less than a magical experience! We had perfect weather in Mid May....the kids ran, played swam and paddled. The parents visited and were able to take a deep breath and relax. We all pitched in and brought a dish to pass for our meal....I cannot think of a better gathering place for kids, adults, weddings, wakes, reunions. employee picnics... any occasion! I cannot say enough good about our experience. Basically Bring Your Event to Summer Camp!!!!

I was a camper at Bishopswood from 2011-2013, a CIT in 2014, and a counselor in 2015 and 2016. The leadership and staff care deeply about creating an environment that is fun, rewarding, and enriching. The camp always maintained a good balance of programming that was purely fun with programming that taught new skills, encouraged team-building, and deepened appreciation for nature and for community. Campers come from all backgrounds and are encouraged to both explore their interests and try new things. The social environment is incredibly welcoming and people make friends for life. Bishopswood is an incredible community and I could not recommend it more.

I attended Bishopswood as a kid, and it made an indelible, positive impression. It was a wholesome, old school overnight camp, where we learned about community alongside kids from all over, with all kinds of different life experiences. For the last two years, my son has attended...and I'm thrilled to report that it's much the same! I'm so happy to have found a camp that shares an inclusive vision of community, where kids can be kids, get muddy, get wet, sing at camp fires. I ALSO love that it's coed, so that my daughter can join her brother there! She's so excited to continue the tradition this summer! Honestly, this place feels like a best-kept secret. It's maybe got fewer bells and whistles than some of the other "fancy" Maine camps...but it's the QUINTESSENTIAL Maine summer overnight camp, and at a fraction of the price of a lot of similar camps. Character, Community, Nature...this place has everything we're looking for. I'm so grateful that my kids can have an experience like I did.

This is THE summer camp for kids! After reading the book "Homesick and Happy" I was reminded of the importance of kids having an opportunity to build independence, autonomy, and a love of the outdoors and started searching for the right camp for our family. This is a great inclusive place with a wonderful blend of structured and free time for summer fun. The directors and other staff are professional and thorough and the counselors are fantastic at keeping the kids doing what they need to do while having that older cousin "cool" vibe that really resonates with the kids. We travel far each year to give our kiddo and other family members a fantastic chance to thrive and grow away from their parents. We are so happy to have Camp Bishopswood a part of our lives.

I photographed a wedding at Camp Bishopswood and it was such a dream! The camp is tucked within a forest with classic & rustic feeling cabins, sat right on Megunticook Lake with stunning views, had a tiny building to hold the ceremony, and the main lodge was used for dinner & dancing. Would photograph a wedding here a million more times, it was so charming & welcoming!
