Powered by GoogleBeyond grateful to have found and become a part of the Be Elite Basketball family!! Coach Soto's knowledge of basketball is exceptional. If your child is willing to be coached and put in the work they can see significant improvement year over year!! In year 3 with BEB and Coach Soto took our daughter from a timid bench player to a starter for her school team. Highly recommend Be Elite!!
We’ve been with Be Elite Basketball since May 2024 and couldn’t be happier with the program. Moving from out of state, we truly found a gem. Coach Soto genuinely cares about the boys on his team and is always there to provide guidance and corrections. His upfront and direct approach from the beginning sets clear expectations on how the program is run. We feel fortunate to be part of such a dedicated and supportive basketball community. Highly recommend!
Be Elite has been a great experience for my son and his development. Coach Soto is intense but that is exactly what my son needs. Coach works on everyone’s weaknesses and builds an overall strong team.
Be Elite is much more than basketball. This program provides basketball skills, builds character, promotes commitment, diligence and TEAM. Coach Soto turned my weak unconfident player into a consistently dependable player… who can see the court. He accepted No Excuses from her. The skills my daughter took from this program will carry with her in college. She still asks herself “what would coach Soto do? Coaches like Soto don't come by often anymore… no tolerance for laziness on his court and no fluff. The investment was worth every penny! I recommend Be Elite 🏀
I’m primarily leaving a review due to the most recent and only negative review written about Be Elite Basketball. Is Coach Soto hard on the kids during practice? Absolutely. Does he yell and cuss occasionally when they are goofing off or not trying? He does. Do the kids run a ton? Without a doubt. But is this the absolute best organization and coach I could have hoped for to help our son develop the skill and mental strength needed to succeed in this highly competitive AAU market? Without question. To say that Coach Soto doesn’t explain drills is absurd. It’s possible that he didn’t stop this particular practice multiple times to explain to those new to skills because that wouldn’t benefit the players who are already investing time, effort and money into the organization. The expectation isn’t perfection during skills. It is attitude and effort…but he’s not going to coddle someone. Coach is constantly stopping the kids during drills so that they can make corrections in real time. He doesn’t baby his players and the expectation is that you work hard, listen and get better. As a parent, this is exactly why we invest in our kids. To say that our son has gotten better over the past six months he’s been with Be Elite is an understatement. His footwork, his ball handling, his endurance and most importantly, his mental strength are far better because of Coach and because of the encouragement of his teammates. Coach cares about his players on and off the court. He truly loves the game and wants his kids to excel. If you’re looking for a team that is like a family, with awesome kids and parents that support each other, and you are okay with a coach that cusses occasionally, come be a part of our team. I can’t recommend BEB enough. P.S. - We think coach is hilarious. He will tell you he’s not for everyone, but then again neither am I!
