Camp staff uncomminicative. My son fell off the amphitheater resulting in a cut and his hitting his head. Thankfully he did not have a concussion, and I do understand that active children will get the occasional cut and bruise. However, camp staff at no point informed my wife or me that he had sustained an injury. Instead, we found out from our son, who said he told a counselor. My wife composed a very civil email asking the camp director if she were aware of his injury and asking what their protocol was. After three weeks, we have yet to receive an answer. Today my son came home with several dirty, scabbed-over scrapes. He said he told a counselor, yet not even basic First Aid was applied. I had to clean and dress his wound at home. And, of course, we were not informed again. I find the lack of basic communication between the camp and parents extremely disturbing and has left me questioning if Camp Finberg is capable of childcare. Normally, I would keep this matter between camp staff and my family; however given their negligence and incompetence, I feel compelled to warn other parents. Don't trust Camp Finberg. They either cannot or will not provide competent care for your children. EDIT: I attempted to leave a voice-mail with the camp, using the phone number provided by on the Attleboro-Norton YMCA's web site. The answering message was generic and did not identify itself as Camp Finberg. I hope I was given the right phone number.

Excellent! It was my child's first time going to camp and she absolutely loved it! The camp and staff was very organized and pick-up and drop-off was easy. My child was entertained the entire day and never felt bored.

Kids are loving outdoor camp and the Y has done a nice job implementing practices to reduce the risk of COVID-19. This would be a five star rating if they could remember to have the kids put sunscreen on throughout the day (this pertains to the youngest age group).

They are amazing there. My child is super active, and extremely sensitive. They love him like their own. The counselors are great. The director, Carol, is helpful and caring. My son has a blast there each and every day and he comes home completely wiped out (what more could you want!? ) :) If you have a chance to send a child here, do it!

The staff here are great! They are very kind and friendly to all visitors as well as the children. There are very well-maintained fields as well as numerous trails through the surrounding forests. I highly recommend!
