One of the best gyms I’ve been to and definitely the best gym in town. You can’t find those rooftop views at any other gym. Try taking Brittany’s cardio dance class it’s top-tier!

Great programs, worst customer service. Website and app are overengineered and do not work, and there is no way to get in contact with anyone when there is an issue. 24 hour response timeline required of customers, but customer support won't respond for 48 hours, and only by filing a case online, no way to speak with someone for faster resolution. Ther is zero accountability in the YMCA of Greater Charlotte for the lack of customer service.

Always keeps the equipment clean and updates it regularly. There's plenty of space in the locker rooms, with 2 steam rooms and 2 saunas. Though it can get busy sometimes, the large size of the location means there's almost always extra space or weights available. I've been coming here for 18 months now, and I've loved it from day one.

I’m here in Charlotte on business and needed some relaxation and was told about this YMCA. I was pleasantly surprised. Very large, modern facility. They have a full parking deck across the street. Beautiful building. I was expedited through the guest services. Was directed to the women’s locker room that housed the whirlpool, sauna and steam room. The locker room was immaculate. They even offered complementary plastic bags for your wet items. The whirlpool could have been a bit hotter with stronger jets and the sauna could have been a bit hotter as well. But that steam roomwas very hot and the steam came on every two minutes. I got the relaxation that I needed.

Huge gym with lots of amenities. Large men’s locker room with weight scale, steam and open showers. Great layout and design interiorly.
