Powered by GoogleSwitched to the Y after cancelling my membership at the circus known as PureGym Lodi. Large variety of weights and equipment for all sorts of workouts/lifts. That and the other facilities like b-ball courts, locker rooms, pool are very clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly too.
A nice place for swimming, basketball, workouts, and exercising in general. Staff are willing to help and are friendly. Environment is clean and also modern. A good YMCA at a location that serves many people.
We had a mixed start with the beginner gymnastics class at the Meadowlands YMCA, but I’m very grateful for how the situation was handled. Phil, the Associate Program Director, was incredibly professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about making things right. He offered my son and his friend a chance to retake the class at no cost after we raised concerns. Phil led the first few weeks of the class himself and was amazing with the kids—engaged, encouraging, and organized. When Olivia took over, she brought the same energy and was fantastic with the children. She made the class fun, inclusive, and a positive learning experience for everyone. Thanks to Phil and Olivia, the boys ended the program on a much more positive note. I really appreciate the leadership and follow-through. I would absolutely recommend the gymnastics program and this YMCA location to other families.
They need to stop shutting the lights off to the basketball court 5-10 minutes before closing! We pay to work out until closing. Shutting off the lights will cause injury. The picture was taken at 8:53pm. With the caution/ slip sign from a leak they have from the roof.
I've been going there for a few years because my trainer of 15 years started working there. The place is friendly but the A/C is horrible in the workout area. The saunas are often out of order. Super clean place. They also have a lot of family programs and camps for kids.
