This preschool turned us away once they realized we made too much money for them to get subsidies from the state. It makes one wonder if they are committing fraud. On the wall one of the teachers posted that their favorite beverage is beer. Tell me how this is setting a good example for toddlers?

My daughter has been in the program for a few years now and our experience has been a 10/10 to say the least. The teachers, helpers, administrators and behind the scene employees that keep this school clean, organized, sanitized and running are rockstars! Empathetic, considerate and willing to help you in a pinch (like lugging around a newborn in a car seat) during drop off :) I’m so grateful for the YMCA Bethel and know you will have a great experience too.

We have been so happy during our two years here for the preschool program. My son loves going to school every day, and I know that he is having fun while learning. His new knowledge comes out organically everyday when I hear him use new words, chooses to count things and name letters, etc without any prompting from me. I highly recommend.

Do not send your children here if you care about their safety. The parking lot is a tragedy waiting to happen due to parents speeding and running the stop sign, which is located where children get on and off the bus. Staff have repeatedly told me that nothing can be done to improve the safety of the parking lot. I would recommend looking elsewhere for child care.

I can't tell you how grateful we are that we have our son in the after school program at the YMCA in Bethel. We find the administrative staff so easy to work with and the communication between us flows. nicely We have met quite a few of the staff and many have gone out of there way to introduce themselves to us when we pick up our son. From Day One we felt that this was the place for our little man and I'm very pleased with the great activities that are planned as well as all the outdoor play. He tells us all the time how happy he is to go there and a lot of times we have to convince him it's time to go home!
