WINGS Afterschool is an education program that teaches kids how to behave well, make good decisions, and build healthy relationships, weaving a comprehensive social emotional learning curriculum into a fresh and fun afterschool program. In Charleston the program runs at the Arthur W. Christopher Community Center in partnership with the City of Charleston; kids attend three hours per day, five days a week during the school year, and there is no cost to attend. Kids receive an afterschool snack and help with their homework, take part in Choice Time enrichment such as art, music, dance and sports, and go on field trips throughout the year.
