Craft & Canvas
Private
Craft & Canvas is a do-it-yourself craft and painting studio on Old Towne Road in West Ashley that runs half-day camps during every school break, including summer. Camp meets Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to noon, and families can register for a full week or day by day. Each day campers choose one project to complete from canvas, ceramic or wood pieces; the studio describes the camp as process-focused rather than themed, and a snack and drink are provided daily.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Craft & Canvas directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleWe had the privilege of experiencing the Splatter Room on site and my young kids had a blast. Would absolutely recommend!
I cannot say enough good things about Stacey and Craft & Canvas. Stacey has endless ideas on how to entertain toddlers during Toddler Time. My 3 yr old is pretty shy, but she LOVES Stacey, who is so encouraging and truly loves to help kids make art. I love C&C almost as much as my kid does! While I’ve enjoyed making kid art, I’m eager to check out one of the adult paint or craft nights. Stacey has all of the supplies that my serial hobbyist heart could wish for. If you or your child have any creative inklings, Stacey will help to draw them out!
My sister and I attended the "Senior" craft day. Our experience here was wonderful. We were given a choice of 3 craft options. We chose to paint a ceramic keep sake and after a brief discussion, decided to try something new. I'm so glad we did! We learned the art of Quilling. Our host was amazing; very personalble and most of all patient. Thanks so much for teaching us a new skill and for helping us make new memories together. See you again soon.
My kids had a wonderful time making crafts here at a camp and also at a drop in visit. Stacey is a School of the Arts teacher and great with kids. They are so many options for crafts and items are reasonably priced. Plenty of fun, creative activities in a space that doesn’t just feel like a cookie cutter corporate chain store (like some other pottery painting shops) but more like a shop someone’s put their heart into.
I came for a Pour Painting class and had a great private lesson with Stacey. This one was interesting and easy to follow, and Stacey was amazing! She was super accommodating and gave me a great experience. I'd highly recommend checking out the studio if you're local or for a group activity if you're visiting from out of town!
