Based at an education center in North Charleston, CTD Soccer Academy runs a full-time program for student-athletes aged 9 to 14 in grades 4 to 8 that pairs accredited online schooling through Holston Academy and daily in-person academic support with soccer training led by former professional players. A typical academy week also includes strength and conditioning, injury prevention and recovery, video analysis, and mental wellness and personal development. ★★★★★Sarah TrussellMy son attended the spring break clinic and absolutely loved it! Every day was fun and exciting which kept the kids engaged while still focusing on skill development. Curtis and Pablo did a great job teaching techniques in a way that really improved my son’s game and soccer IQ. We look forward to training with them soon. Highly recommend!
★★★★★Amanda RitterOur son attended a spring break camp here and we were so impressed! This is not a babysitting program, the focus was on developing real skills, not just keeping kids occupied while out of school. Highly recommend to anyone looking for coaches who keep a positive attitude with a focus on learning while keeping it fun and engaging.
★★★★★Jennifer CobbCurtis has a level of professionalism you rarely see anymore and both of my sons adore him! One has played professionally and d1; the other has played on a select national team, abroad and at the highest level for his age. So we are only interested in the best of the best at this point! Curtis’s love of the game is contagious and his ability to coach the players according to the player’s level and ability makes his training the absolute best! 10/10 recommend CTD to anyone looking for elite soccer training and individual development!
★★★★★Lindsay ThompsonHuge shout out to Curtis Thorn! He is an amazing coach! He has been absolutely amazing with my boys. He and my oldest really connected. He has incredible patience and does such a great job communicating with them. He has encouraged them and really helped them to find their confidence. They absolutely love the sport in which I have been blessed to witness their drive/desire grow with his guidance . I can’t say enough positive things about him and his ability to not only teach them but to become a friend and positive role model for them all! All and all you can’t go wrong with Coach Thorn!
★★★★★Tj CookeCannot say enough good things about Curtis and the special things he is building! Amazing coach, and the academy is going to be special. My son loves working with coach Curtis and we trust him completely!! Highly recommend
