Wings Basketball Academy – Charleston

Wings Basketball Academy runs its Charleston programmes at venues it names itself. Its Contact Us page lists “James Island — Harbor View Presbyterian Church, 900 Harbor View Rd”, where Preseason Prep group training meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4pm to 9pm in 2nd–4th grade beginner, 5th–7th grade intermediate and 8th–12th grade advanced bands, girls and boys grouped separately above 4th grade. At the Daniel Island School Gym the Wings Daniel Island Preseason Prep Academy runs seven weeks of Thursday and Saturday sessions for middle and high school athletes on a one-day or two-day-a-week track, covering ball handling and footwork, shooting and finishing, passing and decision making, 1-on-1 through 3-on-3 situations, competitive play and preseason conditioning. A Monday evening Summer Performance Program runs at Daniel Island Rec for middle and high school players, and the Promise-Informed™ Summer Leadership & Enrichment Camp runs 9am–3pm Monday to Friday at Charleston First Assembly for rising 3rd–6th graders, pairing basketball with leadership and character education, reading and literacy support, STEM enrichment, etiquette and life skills, daily mentorship and a hot lunch.
