Wings Basketball Academy – Summerville

Wings Basketball Academy runs its Summerville programmes at Northwoods Academy, 104 Charger Dr. The Wings Sunday Series is a seven-session basketball development experience meeting on Sundays from late August into October, split into a 3rd–5th grade group at 2:00–3:15 p.m., a middle school group at 3:30–4:45 p.m. and a high school group at 5:00–6:15 p.m., with instruction in fundamental skill development, ball handling, footwork, finishing and shooting, game decision-making and competitive play, confidence and positive self-talk, and accountability, teamwork and leadership. The Wings Labor Day Clinic adds a single-day session for players in grades 4–9, split 4th–6th grade at 9:00–11:15 a.m. and 7th–9th grade at 11:30 a.m.–1:45 p.m., covering ball-handling and change-of-direction skills, footwork and body control, finishing around the basket, decision-making under pressure and competitive 3-on-3 play. Both are open to Northwood Academy students and to players throughout the community, and the operator publishes special pricing for Northwoods Academy players.
