William Pu Music Academy at 330 Prospect Place in Alpharetta runs about ten week-long summer music camps, founded in 2014 by William Pu, a former associate concertmaster of the Atlanta Symphony. Violin camps are graded by level: Foundations for ages 7-18, Intermediate for ages 10 and up, and a Book 4+ camp for ages 14 and up, all running 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. A flute and clarinet camp runs the same full-day hours, vocal camps run 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday and to 2 p.m. Friday, and a chamber music camp adds coaching from members of the Vega String Quartet plus private lessons and master classes. Tuition ranges from $299 to $999 per camp.
