We just completed our third trip with AWP. This one to LA! My son takes classes at AWP and they have been an instrumental part to his learning of the acting world. AWP has allowed him opportunities to meet with industry professionals, especially on trips like this. They also provide workshops to learn more about the acting world to help him be successful. We especially love the relationships and friendships he builds with the other people in the group. The directors of the studio- Lynn and Don- have created such a positive, encouraging, and uplifting space. One where everyone feels safe, comfortable, and welcome. It’s truly a beautiful thing! I cannot say enough good things about AWP! It’s the perfect place to learn acting! You won’t regret checking them out!

AWP is a great heartwarming place and has made me feel part of a heartwarming community. I have gone there for two years now and my acting skills have grown greatly. Everyone I have met here has been awesome especially the teachers. The summer camp is also an amazing experience. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn or continue to grow in the acting field to try this place out!

These programs and camps have changed and grown me as not only an actor, but a person. I have been at AWP for 8 years, and the good habits instilled in me by Mrs. Lynn Stallings are lessons I will take with me into any audition room as well as life itself. AWP is a program catered to young performers, and they aim to get students industry ready by teaching them professionalism, acting fundamentals, and putting together a strong resume. I am so thankful I have AWP in my life, and any young students will benefit from their time here.

AWP is the perfect mixture of professionalism, creative fun, and most importantly, family. The staff and counselors care about each and every one of their campers, and they all go above and beyond to make every campers’ experience the best it can possibly be for each individual. AWP is the DEFINITION of a space where performers can come to grow, learn, and explore themselves and their artistic craft. I have been apart of the AWP summer camp family since I was 8 years old, and now I am about to go off to college this fall. Without AWP, and specifically Mrs. Lynn Stallings, I would not be on the exciting path I am on today. Atlanta Workshop Players is such a special place; Every child should experience a place like this sometime in their life.

Seeing my boys exploring the performing arts and learning new skills is absolutely amazing! My boys are participating in the summer intensive and are LOVING every second. Learning on camera acting, musical theatre, stage combat, mime, acting, etc. and getting taught by working actors who know the industry..JUST WOW. I also love the confidence and life skills my boys are learning. Thank you AWP
