WINGS Afterschool is an education program that teaches kids how to behave well, make good decisions, and build healthy relationships, weaving a comprehensive social emotional learning curriculum into a fresh and fun afterschool program. In Atlanta the WINGS 21st Century Community Learning Center program runs at four Atlanta Public Schools sites - Fickett Elementary, Heritage Academy, William M. Boyd Elementary and Emma Hutchinson Elementary - where kids attend three hours per day, five days a week during the school year and there is no cost to parents/families. Kids receive an afterschool snack, help with their homework in Academic Center four times a week, Choice Time enrichment courses twice a week, and field trips throughout the year.
