★★★★★Brianna SmithSeen some bad reviews for this place so figured I write my own review. I went there w my family this past Thursday and we really enjoyed it. It always looks packed from the outside but there wasn’t many people. There were lots of lifeguards on duty. Plenty of beach chairs under the shade. I had my 2 year old (who was free) and little brother on the kids section which they loved. I will be going again. Side note the only down side was it opened at 1 - 5:45
★★★Lorena MarquezWas at pool yesterday. PROS: pool- adult $6 & child $5- good pricing! Provides different size life jackets for kids who don't know how to swim! They do have restrooms for pool only-pretty clean. You can always call or look online for "open pool" schedule. CONS: No coolers!!!! please teach your pool staff the basic skills (customer service) on how to say hi or a smile to guests. The girl working at the window around 2pm when I went didn't smile and wouldn't try to hold conversation with me when asking about the no cooler policy etc. Disappointing as I usually expect more interaction from employeesI have been to the pool couple times within the past couple years and this visit was not pleasant. ALSO, there is a part on the play attraction that is "closed off" due to a really big hole in the black climbing net....their solution? Place a thin orange cone on the bottom of it as of that's supposed to stop the kids from getting on it! (Took a pic but it won't allow me to post) Did not put anything on the top part of net to stop kids from climbing down. The older kids okay but even then, if they are having fun they will walk right by it or even consider it as "a part of play attraction". They need to board that thing completely off or a lawsuit!!! **Not enough chairs, umbrellas or tables for guests to sit- ridiculous. Also, one of the life guard posts did not have a working umbrella- when the wind blew hard it totally folded leaving the guard with no shade. More than likely won't come back
★★★★★Megan DeWolfGreat pricing - we paid $89 for our family of four which also provided us with discounts on the summer day camps and sports…etc. My kids (under 8) can easily spend a couple of hours at this location. I think the outdoor pool area especially for younger kids, is better at this location compared to the Ryan Family YMCA that is a bit closer to our house. Both are good options though and if you have the membership, you get access to all DFW locations. Great way to beat the heat and make a few friends☀️
★SkylerStaff yelled at me for being upset, I called ahead they told me the water features were all open including the slide at 12:00. I show up they say the slide's not open, even the kids water feature is broken with Jankee chairs blocking exit as a hazard. Asked for a refund and was berated & yelled at by all the lifeguards!!!! PLACE IS A SHAM!
