Powered by GoogleI am a season ticket holder and never disappointed by the shows this community theater puts on. We are fortunate to have this community theater and all the talented people who make in a success both on and off stage.
My wife entered and won a writing contest. The prize was two free tickets to a Friday night show, and she read her story on stage to a packed house before the show. Everyone involved was great. The show was really good. The performers put on a masterpiece of their rendition of the play. This was my first time at the Whidbey Playhouse, and I must say that it was a fantastic environment. If you haven't been, it is totally worth the admission price to see a live theater event. In this digital age, there is something to be said for the classical arts. With what seems to be an ever encroaching non-human entertainment being shoveled down our throats it is places like this one that are fighting to save the soul or what's left of the human spirit that burns within us all. I hope that this institution stays with us forever if for no other reason to offer the next generation a different vision for the future. Bravo to the cast and the director.the performance was moving!
Amazing community playhouse! I’ve been seeing plays here for so many years and even taken part in a couple. Everyone here is so nice and it feels like a true family setting. Definitely see a show if you’re in town during one!!
I went to see opening night of Grease!! Had the opportunity to swing dance with Kinicki at the reception after the show
Amazing home town theater. Great plays to watch and outstanding classes available for all ages to attend. Once your in the door you may want to partake in fuelling your desire of either: becomeing one of the actors, helping behind the scenes, aid to the patrons or an audience member enjoying the show. I truly appreciate all the staff and volunteers, my son had an amazing time taking the class and being part of a play. Thank Mr. Stan for all you've given.
