Camp Nor'wester is a nonprofit overnight camp for ages 9 to 16 on a 135-acre property on Johns Island in Washington's San Juan Islands, reached only by boat. Campers live in units and move through a graduated program of waterfront activities, a challenge course, archery, music, drama, nature study and arts and crafts, plus outcamp trips; overnights stay on camp property for younger campers, while those 13 and older take extended 4-5 day trips to nearby marine parks and islands. It runs two four-week sessions each summer (June 21-July 18 and July 22-August 18 in 2026) on a choose-your-level tuition scale of $6,550 to $7,500, with financial aid and payment plans available.
