Village Theatre's KIDSTAGE program runs youth theater camps and classes at the Cope Gillette Theatre in downtown Everett, where students explore acting, musical theater, writing, and design. Summer camps are one week long with both half-day and full-day options; the 2026 lineup for K-12 students includes themed camps built around Wicked, KPop Demon Hunters, Taylor Swift, and Lin-Manuel Miranda. Experienced teen students can also apply to the Summer Independent program, a professionally mentored track in which students select, mount, and produce a full-scale show themselves. KIDSTAGE serves students of all experience levels from kindergarten through age 20.

They send out weekly reminders for the classes, which can be helpful. Classes are reasonably priced. We look forward to seeing what they come up with at the end of the 3month course.
