Wheatland Athletic Association is a nonprofit, all-volunteer youth sports organization serving Naperville, Aurora and surrounding communities, founded in 1977 and now running programs for more than 12,000 participants a year from age 2 through 18, plus adult leagues. It offers sport-specific camps in baseball, basketball, football, soccer and volleyball along with speed and agility training, alongside its recreational and travel leagues. The camps are short skill clinics rather than full-day care: the baseball hitting camp, for example, meets one hour a day over three days, is grouped by grade for ages 8U-14U, and costs $75 per session. Programs run from the WAA Sports Center on Liberty Street in Aurora.

★Nick FrantzMy son played on a 10U team that was thrown together last minute. Was brought on to be primarily a catcher, yet was not ever put in as catcher. Coach was worried about his kid more than anyone else's. The head of the organization then refused to let any of the kids on the team try out for any of the 11U teams. I would stay FAR away from the Ducks and explore other options!

My son tried out for a basketball travel team but had to do the make up tryouts as we did not know about it until yesterday. Paid $20 for this, got an email that he did not make it and could not even tell us anything on why. He’s young and we want to work with him so to not give any feedback but take our money left a bad taste our mouth. I even called and talked to the guy they say was in charge for him to tell me he’s only going off the paper of the guy that did the make up tryouts. 🤷🏾♀️
★EmilyGH19The youth softball program is a joke. My daughter's team is practicing 1 time before games start. 1 time! My daughter is 7 and has never played before. How will these girls learn and feel comfortable before a game if they have no idea what they're doing? Every other league in the area has been practicing for weeks. Complete and total waste of time. We will be playing literally anywhere else next year.
