Upper crust needs to do an overhaul. Place has gone to pot and it's a shame as I helped in the building process of this building and long wanted to be a member but I don't enjoy little girls in the men's locker room and the staff didn't care! took my wife calling to get someone to actually go to the men's locker room and remove the child. No problem. Just joined the m.a.c. instead. Thanks for literally chasing us out... I even offered to donate money as I need tax write off's. Treated very poorly time after time.

The new lifeguards, the older ladies, are so pedantic about the rules. Their delivery sucks too. It's not hard to judge a situation and decide what doesn't need to be said 🙄 so annoying now. Just let the kids play and swim if everyone is safe and not bothering anyone.

I visited the gym and was disappointed with its condition. The facility is unclean, lacks air circulation, and has dirty locker rooms. The sauna and steam room were particularly unsanitary. The overall hygiene standards are subpar. Considering the modern amenities offered by other YMCAs, this gym's outdated facilities are inexcusable. In comparison, Planet Fitness appears to be a superior option. Notably, the staff is extremely friendly, despite working in challenging conditions.

I normally do Enhanced Fitness classes at the southside Y. Due to a schedule conflict, I opted to take the earlier class at the westside location, led by Chris. She was rude and bossy. I'd set my equipment beside an empty chair to be followed by signing in. She approached me and told me that I need to sign in and that I can't use hand weights for the first three times in her class. I explained that I've done the same class at the southside location for a year. She said, "That doesn't matter. I don't know you. You either follow the rules or you get out. I say that NO ONE needs such disrespectful engagement ever, and especially at 8:20 in the morning.

This location was not helpful. I only wanted to come in as a visitor with my friend. We were only gonna to spend ten to twenty minutes here. Just to walk the track for improvement in out mobility. I was greeted by a staff, she offered a one day pass for fifteen dollars. I'm on a limited income so that would not benefit me. And the special offered also wasn't beneficial for my income. I feel there should be at least a visitor pass for twenty minutes offered. I didn't need to use any thing just a small jog around the track in a safe environment with my friend. Thank you for your offers, maybe this could have a team evaluation on this concern ???
