Powered by GoogleIf you are looking for swim lessons for kids don't waste your time checking this place out. Sessions get canceled with no notice, it is a disappointment the child ready to swim and the parent as well. The teacher lack of motivation at all. She seemed annoyed every time. My child had trouble getting back to the side of pool after his turns and she will never help, she will stand and watch him struggle. For the price this is definitely worth the trouble. I would zero stars if I could.
The YMCA Waxahachie branch has a great volleyball program! I was able to coach this past season and thoroughly enjoyed my experience! The staff is very friendly. The cost is budget friendly and the commitment is a manageable one because the season is fairly short! Thank you YMCA Waxahachie!
Delma, the sports director, is incredibly organized, communicative, and helpful. She and Gabriella Q. always work to put my kids on teams with friends. They provide a fun, safe, respectful and not overly competitive environment for my girls to learn sportsmanship and teamwork while engaging in sports. There is a great community mindset with the YMCA and a town like Waxahachie needs that so much!
Only gym that offers child care in Ellis county (+ Dallas) and are serious about the safety of our kids. When I first walked in I wasn't in awe, it seems old and outdated, but it's not. It's just an old building. People are extremely kind there. I'm a stay at home mom that brings 3 kids so I can be healthy and that only cost me around $85/month. For the way they take care of my kids it's worth every penny AND they even offer to watch your kids if you want to go on a date with your spouse. That's above and beyond and that's more welcoming than anything I can think of. That's very special to me. They offer programs for the kids as young as 6 months. Parking can be busy, but I haven't had to wait long for someone to walk out. Thank you guys for looking out for us with children. That greatly appreciated.
Staff is helpful and friendly! Excited to see the new expansion and park in the near future. It’s nice working out in a place that doesn’t feel judgmental for what level of fitness you are currently at. The kids club is great! Staff is helpful in calming down our kiddo and engaging them in activities.
