Hear it's going downhill. Can't even get food or beer on New Years! Shame.

Great place! Typical working class yacht with great people! The members make the club. Nice bar with food. If you want healthly, join Jenny Craig. If you want good drinks and food... Come to Volunteer Yacht Club!

It is a good sized club for a large group party. My husband and I were invited to one of his co-workers birthday party here and a small group from the Hyatt Regency were there and all her family, relatives and friends. One whole wall had at least 6-8 chafing dishes full of good food. A silver disco ball hung from the ceiling and balloons were floating above all the tables. It got a little warm but we just opened the glass windows and door a bit and it was fine. Nice time there!
