Vintage Theatre at 1468 Dayton Street in Aurora runs the Vintage Youth Program for children ages 6 to 18, led by an educator with over 30 years of theatrical teaching experience. Its summer camps run about six weeks and put students through a fully staged musical - recent titles include Frozen Jr. - studying acting, music and dance as part of the rehearsal process along with technical elements like lights, sound, set, costumes and props, and closing with two public performances. Unlike audition-based programs, Vintage uses a payment-based model open to anyone; school-year sessions run 10 weeks at 2-3 hours a week.

Every performance in this musical is a first class experience. I love great blues and was certainly not disappointed. My hands were sore from applauding. It was hard to refrain from singing along, but I am glad the audience complied. The cast is amazing and the venue is cozy and comfortable. The play runs through 6/21.

They stand up classic plays and musicals, as well as shows that are not as well-known. It's also a great place to see local talent in a cabaret. In 2023, Vintage Theatre won eight Broadway World "People's Choice" awards including "Best Director" and "Best New Musical" in Colorado, the most of any area theater; clearly, Vintage Theatre is one of the best theaters in Colorado and I highly recommend it.
