Boulder Performing Arts Co. runs themed musical theatre summer camps Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 3:00pm, banded by age and skill - shows such as Matilda, Wicked and Moana 2 for ages 5-7 and 8-11, an advanced Wicked camp for ages 8-14, and a Taylor Swift singing camp where campers pick solos, duets or group songs. Younger campers choose their favourite character to play in a non-competitive setting, while advanced campers audition for lead roles. Each camp ends with a free performance on the big stage around pickup time, and the company also teaches year-round acting, singing, dance and movie-making classes for ages 3-13.

Powered by GoogleMy 9 year old has been at Boulder Performing Arts for several years, and it really is a place that feels like home to her. She has gained so much confidence and doesn't hold back from trying new things because it's such a supportive environment. She absolutely loves Pollyanna and Lulu. We are sure she will continue to have a special sense of belonging there as she grows.
We attended a performance of Mary Poppins this past Friday in which our grand daughter had a role. The children did a wonderful job under the direction of Lulu. The Boulder Performing Arts Co. is to be commended !
My son started theater here a year ago and I can’t say enough about the positive impact this organization has on my son’s life. The director has engrained a sense of confidence in our son, and taught him how to put himself out there through singing and acting in front of an audience. We are blown away by the buy-in she creates for these kids by teaching them how to take their work seriously while still making theater a fun place to be.
