Belliston Academy of Ballet in Littleton runs a tiered summer camp lineup: half-day preschool dance camps for ages 3-5 (9:00am-12:30pm) covering creative movement, ballet, tap and tumbling; a Mini Intensive for ages 5-7 on the same half-day schedule; a Junior Summer Intensive for ages 8-11 running 9:00am-2:00pm over one or two weeks; and a Summer Intensive for Ballet 3 and above running 9:00am-4:00pm for two or three weeks. Intensive dancers train in ballet daily plus pointe, variations, jazz, tap, modern, tumbling and Progressing Ballet Technique. Dancers completing the full run join a group field trip and perform in the Summer Showcase. Registration is open-enrollment with a 50% deposit, though the upper-level intensive is by placement.

Everything from the website to registering for a trial class was such an easy process. The structure of the class for two and three-year-olds is absolutely perfect, and the instructor was so great with all of the students! She made everyone feel included, and she was very patient and understanding when some of the students were feeling nervous. All of the activities were age-appropriate while still teaching intro dance skills that got all the kids moving their bodies to music. My daughter enjoyed every second of the “mini movers” class. I highly recommend Belliston!

The teacher, Ms. Kristen, was engaging and charismatic. The class we joined was small and each student had ample of individual attention. I also like the format of the class, changing it up half way through to keep them entertained and focused. Alex provided me with printouts of the rates, classes, etc when the class ended. My daughter had a blast, and I promptly signed her up that day. I’m so happy to have found this place!
