Cindy's Dance Factory is a dance studio in the Gleneagle area of Colorado Springs that keeps classes small and teaches weekly classes from late August through May in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, pointe, hip hop, breakdance, modern, acrobatics, clogging and musical theater. Age groups start with tots ballet and tap for ages 2 1/2 to 5 and mini acrobatics from age 2, and the schedule includes a home school ballet class and audition-based performing teams that perform around town and compete in Denver. Tuition is billed monthly by the number of weekly class hours, with sibling and military discounts. Summer brings week-long sessions of daily hour-long classes, priced by the number of hours a day, plus single-day boot camps.

★★★★Rena KSNot only is the dance room in great condition, it is welcoming to parents. I have never been to a dance studio where parents are welcome into the room with the girls. Cindy is a wonderful teacher. She is patient and warm with the youngest (my very shy 4 year old actually talked to her--not an easy feat!) and fun and lively for the slightly older girls (my 8 yr old thought she had very fun teaching techniques). I was early to my daughters dance class and was able to watch her teach the teenagers. I was very impressed with her ability to command their respect but be relatable and fun. She does a wonderful job at introducing technique to the toddlers-- most 3/4 yr old dance classes are playtime. While she makes it fun, she makes sure the kids are learning something!! Her dances are well choreographed and she chooses age-appropriate music-- Disney Princess for my little one and Miley Cyrus for my 8 yr old-- they are both ecstatic. I will say that the recital is VERY long and that classes often don't start at their scheduled time--therefore running late. I had hoped that technique would be enforced a little more than it was but I'm under the impression that, as the girls grow, so does Cindys expectations.
