Powered by GoogleMy experience with this youth community theater program has been truly exceptional. The directors are incredibly supportive, caring, and thoughtful. They create a welcoming environment where kids feel safe, encouraged, and valued. It’s clear how deeply they care about each child as performers and as individuals. The productions are wonderful! They showcase the hard work and confidence the kids develop throughout the process. This program has been such a positive influence on my children, and I’m grateful for the passion and dedication the directors bring to everything they do. Highly recommend!
Our 6 year old grandson just finished his first summer camp. He absolutely loved it & wants to do it again. Staff did a wonderful job making all the kiddos feel welcome, letting them use their creativity & imaginations, and the result was fun for us all.
My daughter loved their summer camp and wants to come back every summer. I could see how safe she felt by how quickly she came out of her shell. The teacher Miss Christa was very kind with the kids, encouraging their self-expression and development.
I cannot rate this theatre highly enough. They are a wonderful non-profit guided by parents and those very experienced in theatre. My daughter had the absolute best time performing in their most recent show of The Doctor In Wonderland. She was brand new to this theatre and they made her feel welcome and like she belonged to a wonderful family. She wants this to be her new theatre home, and I’m so happy a place like this exists for not only her but for any child interested in theater. My daughter has raved about how kind and easy to work with everyone is - and I couldn’t ask for anything more. :)
Our son has been at Backstory Theater for over 2 years now and considers it his community. He always talks about how welcoming everyone is and gets excited for each rehearsal. He has done both classes and auditioned performances and loves it all!
