Powered by GoogleI was a member here before when they were axiom and never had an issue. The billing for Villa Sport is very opaque and scammy. They intentionally make cancellation difficult and annoying. They bill additional fees that are hidden in a massive contract. They are pushy with personal training services. I wouldn’t recommend going here. There are plenty of reputable gyms in the treasure valley. This is not one of them.
Broken equipment sits around for months to be fixed, huge price increase to pay for the gyms they just recently bought up, improper client service representation, zero towel service, poor communication, and billing cycle changed without giving anyone notice. Very difficult to cancel even with a written notice submitted to the email they provide, always smells like old sweat, do not go here.
Cool gym. I like the space a lot, but the basketball court doesn't work for an adult wanting to play in the evenings. The rating is based more on it's lack of meeting MY needs than a reflection on the facility and staff.
I have been a member here for many years, due to this being the closest gym to my house. The remodel of the gym includes a nice new sauna, which I love, but the gym equipment could really use some upgrades! The stair steppers are awful! Most of the time there is at least 1-2 of the 6 machines not working and the body shaker machine has not been replaced 😒 Overall cleanliness of the gym is ok (saunas need vacuumed just like all the other areas) Overall would be nice to see upgraded equipment.
Not an entirely bad gym in general. The equipment is dated. Alot of the treadmills dont work well so you have to play musical chairs to find a good one. Some lifting equipment out of service for long periods which cuts down on the available equipment which goes hand in hand with the next issue, space. Unfortunately I am limited to peak hours in the morning or afternoon but there is just simply way to many people to get a decent workout in. Lots of people just hanging out on the benches, on their phone, or just having conversations. I get it, gym culture and all, but it's just difficult when you're waiting on equipment or at the free weights having to squeeze in between 12 other people. The staff is kind and always been awesome though.
