Twist Gymnastics runs half-day and full-day summer camps for girls ages 5-18 at its John Rolfe Parkway gym in Richmond, where campers train on all gymnastics events and tumble, bounce and flip at a 6-to-1 student-to-coach ratio, at every skill level. The half-day camp runs 9:00am-12:00pm Monday-Friday; the full-day 'Teamed Up Camp' runs 9:00am-4:00pm and pairs a gymnastics morning with an afternoon of cooking at Young Chef's Academy, with campers bringing a bag lunch. Eleven open-enrollment weeks run from June through late August, bookable by the week or by the single day, with sibling pricing on both.

Awesome environment, great attentive staff. My daughter has really gained a lot since she has started going to twist. She absolutely loves it here and is always excited to go to her class! I saw a review that said you cannot watch your child, I myself and other parents stay to watch and the owner is awesome. Very nice people!

I love it here! We have been a member for many years, now currently on the team. The owner and staff are skilled and always have the child's best interest. Parents are always welcome! btw-yes during COVID there was no audience, but all businesses had faced pressures from everyone, but that is no longer the case and hasn't for quite a long time!

First impressions of this place- went in to get information to sign up. The owner was rude and seemed bothered that she had to get that for me. I asked questions and found out parents cannot stay and watch their child during the session. She said the good thing about COVID is that she didn’t have to have parents in there anymore. Since mandates have been lifted she still does not want parents to stay. That’s a red flag to me. Why doesn’t she want any parents in there? Is there something happening that she doesn’t want to parents to see? I don’t typically drop my 6 year old off with people I don’t know and leave. We signed up somewhere else where parents are welcome. Red flags when places don’t want parents around.

This gym is fantastic! Not only does Lisa, the head coach, bring a wealth of experience from her lifetime of experience, but you can tell she really cares a lot about the girls. Highly recommended!
