Theater in the Open (TITO) runs its Summer Arts Workshop entirely outdoors in Maudslay State Park in Newburyport. The Theater Arts Workshop is a two-week program for ages 6-12 with daily classes in acting, improvisation, dance and visual art, and time to explore the park itself; the day runs 9:00am-2:00pm with an extended-day option to 5:00pm. Four sessions run from late June through late August at $630 each, in a deliberately non-competitive environment. TITO is a nonprofit professional company and awards need-based tuition scholarships to any family that demonstrates need.

First off, the give absolutely no directions as to how to get to where the event is actually held. 2nd, I tried calling multiple times to see if someone could help me, no one ever answeted or called me back. We finally found the event, and one woman completely ignored me when I asked her how to get in. Another woman told me our tickets were given away, and we would not be allowed in. We drove over 45 minutes for absolutely nothing, they let my family and I down.
