The Performing Arts Connection (TPAC) is a Sudbury studio, founded in 2007, offering dance, voice, musical theater and acting year-round. Its Summer Theater Workshops, run since 2000, are musical theater intensives for grades 2-12 that emphasize artistic growth and confidence and are open to all levels, from a first show to an experienced performer. Sessions run from late June through mid-August with flexible schedule options, and parents describe a supportive, non-competitive environment where every cast member is valued equally.

My 5 year old daughter is having an amazing time at TPAC. I was so happy to hear how they were willing and happy to accommodate someone with ADHD who sometimes needed a little extra help or a break. They are so warm and welcoming, and my daughter has discovered a love of musical theater through their camps and classes. The class structure for kindergarten is so fitting- learning, while also playing and being able to express yourself openly. The recitals aren’t full of pressure or a demand for perfection- they give the kids a chance to feel comfortable and confident on a stage. We are excited to continue our journey with TPAC!

My daughter loves dancing at TPAC! Her teacher has been an absolute gem and brings high energy and kindness every week. The recital was beautiful and you can tell a lot of care goes into each class. While we have only started in dance I love all the different options available and can’t wait to have my little one try them all :)

We’ve had such a positive experience at TPAC. My daughter started with the summer program, quickly fell in love with it, and now participates in dance team and musicals. Over time, I’ve truly seen her confidence grow, which I credit to the warmth, encouragement, and dedication of the teachers. They create a supportive environment where kids feel comfortable expressing themselves and stepping into the spotlight. Before class, especially theater, you can feel the excitement from all the kids waiting for it to begin. They’re genuinely happy to be there, forming great friendships, and the energy is contagious. The staff and teachers are caring and committed, and we’re really looking forward to many more classes at TPAC!

We are a theater family at TPAC and we love everything about their theater programs. Whether you want to get your kids involved recreationally or more intensive, they have programs to fit everyone. My kids come home from theater camp with the best stories of their day!! Highly recommend

TPAC is a special place. It is the best side of the theatre arts - inclusive, community-led, and supportive - so the kids that attend can feel safe to explore and push themselves. My daughter has grown up at TPAC, across a spectrum of classes. From conservatory to private voice to summer camps. Every instructor has been exceptional. This is her favorite extracurricular activity by miles. And as a parent, I appreciate how well run TPAC is and how kind all of the staff are.
