Basketball day camp for boys and girls ages 8 to 15 of all skill levels, run by The Basketball Warehouse Academy. Camp runs Monday through Friday during the summer and most school-break weeks; families sign up for one week or several, and morning-only or afternoon-only half days are available. Coaches cover fundamentals - dribbling, shooting, passing, defense and rebounding - plus agility and speed, with campers split into small groups of similar age and skill. Camp is held at the academy's Largo site; kids pack a lunch and bring a water bottle.

★R WCable man referred me here and that was a huge mistake. They deserve no stars. Took my grandson out — don’t let your kid go through this. Very Ghetto and Very Unsafe. This place is a circus. They bounce from gym to gym with no structure, like they dodgin’ bills. Say it’s for girls, but even the girls get disrespected. Boys? Forget it — they don’t care at all unless you a relative. One coach Screams like he hate everybody. He doesn’t speak to the parents unless you are a favorite which is usually young, white women. Tells kids not to play for other teams, but his own daughter hoopin’ everywhere. Just messy and hypocritical. Kids look miserable. Don’t even have front desk staff ‘cause the place feels unsafe. Gym is always empty. That says it all. You ask one question in the group chat, they kick you out like you cussed somebody out. We heard hollering and screaming from parents one night. Then the next week training got cancelled for the whole summer because they are going bankrupt. Communication is garbage. Some coaches were afraid to help and make things right so they left also. All they care about is gettin’ your money. High fees, no events, no fundraisers — just bad attitudes, favoritism, and emotional abuse. My grandson was stressed and more quiet than I have ever seen him. That was enough. During a time when kids are harming themselves due to bullying and stress, this isn’t a good climate for our kid. Run. Don’t walk. Get your kid outta there. There are so many other trainers and teams in the area that will be positive to you and your child.
