Powered by GoogleI am very disappointed with my experience at Texas Warriors FC. Instead of encouraging and developing young players who genuinely want to grow as soccer athletes, the current coaching approach has been discouraging and demoralizing for many kids. The new coach, Jason, seems inexperienced in understanding player strengths, weaknesses, and individual skill sets. Constantly changing players' positions during matches without clear direction creates confusion and affects both their confidence and performance on the field. Rather than helping players improve, this back-and-forth decision-making reduces their productivity and enjoyment of the game. Youth soccer should be about development, confidence, and proper guidance- not frustration and uncertainty. I would not recommend this club if they continue placing coaches like Jason in charge of player development.
It’s hard to put into words how much my son has grown after just one year with the Texas Warriors. The progress he’s made is unbelievable far beyond anything he experienced in recreational soccer or with the four other clubs he was part of. The coaching here is on another level. Not only has he transitioned to a new position that he now loves, but he’s also excited to take on even more challenges by learning new roles on the field. I truly appreciate that the coaches don’t focus on size or age they mix players of all levels in scrimmages, which has helped my son build confidence and lose the fear of playing against bigger or faster kids. Now he knows it’s not about size it’s about being smart on the ball. The coaches push every player to reach their full potential, and what sets this club apart is their passion. They’re not in it for the money they genuinely care about the game and the kids. No other club even comes close.
Great organization, lots of tournaments and plenty of trainings. Beware of the coaching and agendas. My son played for this team the 24/25 season and they qualified for the USA Cup in Round Rock in December. When the time came to play in Minnesota guest players were invite and they benched starters of the Warriors for the guest players that never paid thousands of dollars or trained with the team. If you want your son or daughter to play for this team beware they may just be dollar signs.
Being part of this family has been a life changing experience. Yes I said family. Texas Warriors make you a part of their family. Every coach and manager are there for our athletes in more ways then just on the field. The coaches take pride in the skill and knowledge the athletes learn everyday. They make themselves available for lessons and 1 on 1. The tuff rugged training has developed my boys to be great players and young men on and off the field.
Texas Warriors FC 17 is great bunch of families that look after each other kids. Everyone is very supportive. My son started with the Warriors last March. He has grown so much in just one year in confidence in himself and learning so much everyday.
