We had the most incredible experience at Tenacre this year. It was our first time enrolling. My daughter is 7 years old, very quirky, and going to second grade this fall. The sign-up correspondence, the staff, volunteers, and lifeguards, the property, the activities, drop-off and pick-up were all 10/10. My daughter was so excited at pick-up everyday, sharing fun stories of all the amazing activities she did over the course of the day. Her only complaint was that they didn't do as much archery as she would've liked (she is obsessed with it). Even though her second week was a rainy one, there were fun engaging activities that kept her occupied indoors like crafts, paints and bracelet making. She was very satisfied and we were more so. We will enroll for even more time next year. Even though it's pricey for young families, I felt it was completely worth it. My daughter was extremely taken with the kindness and friendliness of her group's lifeguard, Samantha. She was very cordial, compassionate, and professional. Most of the lifeguards were, which says a lot about Tenacre. We highly recommend it.

Our family’s experience at Tenacre Summer Camp has been wonderful. Our child had a great first year and we are already booked for this coming summer. The daily schedule is packed with activities and across a week, the days are varied enough to feel very fresh. Daily swimming (twice a day for our child) is awesome during the warm summer days and every evening our child came home well exercised and nicely tired from all of the activity. The counselors are great, connecting with each child and providing individualized attention when necessary. The leadership staff maintains clear communication with parents and children throughout the entire summer. The whole place has huge wonderful energy, which as a parent you get to see during pickups when the counselors race from your car to get retrieve your child from his/her group. Tenacre is a great summer camp and our family recommends it highly.

Tenacre Day Camp is AWESOME! Our daughter was very shy as a kindergartener when she first went to Tenacre Day Camp, and this was her first Camp experience. The counselors were awesome and brought her out of her shell beautifully. She was made to feel right at home and quickly made friends with the staff and other kids. She learned to swim there, and has absolutely loved every week she's attended since. She's going into 4th grade next year and is now taking advantage of the Specialty Camps too. She loved Robotics last year and will be doing that and Rocketry this year - on top of two weeks in the regular Camp. Our girl has blossomed at Tenacre Day Camp and we highly recommend it to anyone who is considering a summer camp for their kids. It's the best in the area!
