Very simply put — an amazing preschool! It’s small, which allows the teachers and administrators to truly know your child — their needs, strengths, and challenges. They are not a typical religious establishment and do not push religion at all. They have a great outdoor space and an absolutely amazing art room. Yes, they actually have art classes, even for 2-year-olds! The art teacher is incredibly creative and never ceases to surprise me and my kids with new ideas. The teachers are very kind and genuinely enjoy being with children, guiding them through their journey. Both of my kids love it, and they also attend the summer camp, afternoon explorers program and Spanish club.

I was searching in the area for a play-based preschool for my neurodivergent child. I felt that a play-based preschool would be the best environment for them to thrive and get ready for the transition to kindergarten. I am so glad that I was able to find this school! When we first visited, I loved so many things about this place. The classrooms have a small teacher to student ratio. The classrooms look great and the large fenced-in play area in the back looked like a safe place for kids to spend time outside. I loved that they try to spend a little bit of time outside on most days. The teachers were all friendly and seemed very capable. They all have a lot of experience with children, which was wonderful. I also really liked how safe the school was. They have a great safety system in place, which made me feel secure about sending my child there. Having it match with so much of what I was looking for in a preschool, I enrolled my child. It was definitely the best decision that I made! My child loves going to this school. The teachers are amazing and my child has made so much progress in their emotional growth and social skills. The education is robust and child-led. The community of parents is small and friendly. I highly recommend this gem of a school!

Even before Day 1, we have been thrilled with our family's experience at TOSCEL and their amazing educators. A Jewish preschool environment has always been important to us, but we've gotten so much more out of the school. Since starting at age 2, our son has grown in so many ways -- his interests, skills, vocabulary, imagination, empathy and self-confidence have blossomed in ways that we know we can attribute to the warmth of the environment TOSCEL fosters. The activities the kids are offered each day -- between the classroom and the Art Studio -- are carefully curated with so much thought, creativity, and intention. The relationships we've built at the school are ones we will continue to cherish and we're so incredibly grateful for this community.

We have been delighted with the Temple Ohav Shalom Center for Early Learning. The physical location tucked up at the top of a treed area is wonderful. As we turn in, the boys both always exclaim, “we are at school!!” And inside is amazing … such a warm and cozy environment, filled with charming kid-friendly and educational objects. And books … so many books literally everywhere you look! Miss Andrea has a superb team. Miss Lisa and Miss Natalia are amazing teachers! Our 3yo twin grandsons love arriving to this very special, loving place. Music and art, lots of outdoor playtime, as well as Spanish Club round out this program. The development we have seen this year has been a joy!

We are so grateful to have found TOSCEL. They provide a student lead learning environment, where children are allowed to be themselves and learn in the ways that work for them. The teachers take into account interests and strengths of students to facilitate an engaging and fun learning experience. With a focus on humanistic values, my kids are learning to be kind and considerate community members and humans. The teachers and staff are so wonderful and truly treat all of the children as if they were their own. I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful and loving learning environment for my 2 kids, and cannot recommend this program enough for anyone looking for a wonderful preschool for their children.
