Municipal recreation summer day camp run by the Borough of Bethel Park in the South Hills, offering weekly themed programming June through August. ★Sheba AzizaCame to the Rec Center for a ‘Mom Walk’ event to help introduce moms with one another and get some exercise. However, an old lady complained and berated each of us moms that we were not allowed to be there with strollers. Our organizer had contacted the Rec Center to schedule this event, but the old lady was NOT happy that we were there. This is a community center to bring the community together but that was not the case. eventually the staff told us to leave. I am absolutely disgusted by an elderly woman’s complaints and how the Rec Center didn’t stand up for us. Will never recommend this location.
★Shannon DoranHad a baby shower at this establishment, beautiful room and experience but minus the staff … from start paid 560 for a room plus deposit.. was told as soon as we got there we had no access to stage ?? To nothing beyond a carpet .. bringing coolers in ( there’s water on the floor ) to adults taking their 2-3 years old to the bathroom with an open beverage .. my son went to get more garbage bags was handed a broom and dust pan along with a vacuum. Staff was VERY rude .. did not get our additional deposit back .. garbage , dirty , exit sign broke ?? Also another sign ??? There were multiple parties this day .. so who is responsible.. GUESS US.. save your money
